I was born and raised in Huntsville and have lived here ever since! I began my CrossFit journey in 2012 while I was a sophomore at Texas A&M. I showed up to the box not knowing what was going on or what I was about to get myself into (I’m sure most of you are very familiar with this feeling). After I finished the workout, I immediately knew I wanted to pursue a career in CrossFit. There is nothing more rewarding than watching a group of people unite and encourage one another to push through a challenging workout.

My goal as a coach is to help others understand what they are truly capable of, both physically and mentally. I want to make sure each and every member understands the value of making their own health a priority. It is so rewarding to witness people get out of their comfort zone and achieve a goal they never thought possible. No matter what your motivation is for joining, it is my hope that CrossFit Fortem creates an atmosphere where you can accomplish the goals you have set for yourself.

My approach to fitness is simple:

  1. Find a sport or activity that you love and work on getting better at it every single day. 
  2. Find a group of people that support you and hold you accountable.
  3. Find the joy in prioritizing your health. It is a blessing to be able to work out and take care of your body, so enjoy it and HAVE FUN!
